Upcoming Event

A whisper of fall is in the air reminding us that the time is nearing for the Annual Reading Program of the Greensboro Writers' Guild. This year's event will be held at the Conference Center of Cuscowilla, in Eatonton, GA. The program's theme will be "Perspectives."

If you research the word perspective, you will find it comes from the Latin perspectus, which means to look through or to see clearly. In its archaic form the word means an optical as a telescope. It is our hope that as our 2010 audience peers through the telescope of the prose and poetry inked across the pages of our newest booklet, they will enjoy the various perspectives developed through our collective imaginations and presented through the remarkable and satisfying, shared art of writing.
